Case History
No scheme design or condition survey had been undertaken at the stage when the initial cost plan was required for funding submission. Using historic data the estimate was prepared in the sum of £1,250,000.00.

The project was required to be completed within 12 months of the our appointment and we advised the College to adopt a construction management form of procurement on a two stage basis in order for the investigation and remedial work to be commenced whilst the designs for the remodelling were completed.

The client was advised of the risks versus benefits of this form of procurement.

The centre opened in April 2005 on budget.
